FAQs on MiN New York -
Agent

Questions & answers on Agent – MiN New York’s breakthrough formula that contains 3 key hair regeneration ingredients to combat hair and re-grow thicker, stronger hair.

What is Agent®?

MiN New York Agent is a fast acting time-release formula containing proven hair regeneration ingredients utilizing a proprietary subdermal delivery system.

What are Nanospheres?

Nanospheres act as a delivery system and its layers are physiologically similar to the material of cell membranes. When cosmetics containing nanospheres are applied to the skin, they begin to merge with the cellular membranes and then release their payload of active materials into the cells. The result is that the delivery of ingredients can be targeted for the intended cells and the release takes place over an extended period of time.

One major advantage is that active ingredients continue acting at the target site of treatment where hair loss occurs over the course of many hours.

What are the key ingredients? THREE GLOBALLY PATENTED INGREDIENTS.

The key active ingredients in Agent are Minoxidil (5%), Kopexil, Procapil and Copper Peptide Y3. Minoxidil is FDA approved to encourage hair regrowth and thicken existing hair. Kopexil is an additional patented anti-hair loss molecule that fights against the stiffening of collagen which is linked to premature aging of the hair roots. Procapil is a patented ingredient that boosts the synthesis of important components at the epidermal junction where hair anchors to the scalp. Hair follicles will be more firmly planted in the scalp. Finally, Copper Peptide Y3 thickens and improves hair elasticity in addition to blocking the oxidative damage common to DHT related alopecia.

Will Agent work for me?

Agent may be appropriate for you if you are a male at least 18 years old and experiencing gradually thinning or gradual hair loss on the top of your scalp.

How effective is Agent?

Agent is the only hair regrowth formula to utilize three globally patented ingredients proven to regrow hair and improve overall hair and scalp health. Agent is the only treatment utilizing nanosphere encapsulated Minoxidil 5% which delivers this potent ingredient closer to the target area rather than resting only on the scalp. Although individual results will vary, Agent will be effective in promoting hair regrowth and inhibiting the production of DHT on the hair and scalp over time.

How do I apply Agent?

Apply 3 to 5 sprays directly to area of hair loss or thinning hair twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. The evening application should occur two to four hours before bed to allow for drying. Massage lotion evenly onto scalp. Wash hands immediately after use. Do not rinse your hair after applying. Do not wash your hair for at least four hours after applying. Do not blow dry your hair after applying. Never apply to wet hair, towel dry hair prior to use.

What should I expect? When will I see results?

It takes time for hair to regrow. Initial hair growth should begin within two weeks, though results may vary by individual. The new hair is usually soft and colorless. With continued use the color of the new hair will match the rest of your hair.

What if I miss an application?

In the case of a missed application simply continue with your next dose. Do not attempt to make up for missed applications.

Can I use Agent with Propecia?

Agent can be utilized in conjunction with Propecia. Consult your doctor for additional information prior to adding Agent to your Propecia regimen.

Is a higher concentration of Minoxidil more effective?

Yes. Studies indicate superior performance when comparing the effectiveness of 5% Minoxidil to 2% Minoxidil. Beyond 5% the data is inconclusive. Encapsulation of Minoxidil 5% into nanospheres delivers this key ingredient much closer to the target area rather than topically.

Is Agent safe? Are there side effects?

Agent is absolutely safe. However, in limited cases the treated area of the scalp may occasionally become itchy and irritated. In such cases we recommend you decrease your dosage, and if the symptoms continue stop use and consult with a doctor. One may also experience unwanted hair growth on the face and other body parts. It is again important to remember that Agent is for use by men only.

Can I use Agent more than twice a day? Will it work fast or better?

No. Agent will not work faster or better if used more than two times a day.

What happens if I completely stop using Agent? Will I keep the new hair?

In order to maintain the regrowth of your hair Agent must be used continuous and as directed. If you stop using Agent, you may begin to gradually lose newly grown hair in 3 to 4 months.

How does Agent compare to other products in the market today?

Agent's superior formulation utilizes a nanosphere-encapsulated technology to deliver key ingredient - 5% minoxidil - closer to the target area over time. In addition to 5% minoxidil (compared to just 2% in other leading products ), Agent is formulated with kopexil-a patented ingredient proven to increase the volume of hair during the growth stage and rejuvenate the hair roots. Procapil is another patented ingredient proven to anchor the hair follicles and thicken cells in the bulb of telogen-stage hair follicles. Copper Peptide Y3 thickens and improves hair elasticity in addition to blocking the oxidative damage common to DHT related alopecia.

What kind of shampoo should I use with Agent?

For optimal results use MiN New York's DHT Cleansing System.

Can I use styling products with Agent in my hair?

Yes. Hair sprays and styling aids may be used on your hair while using Agent. For best results, allow Agent to be absorbed into the scalp before using any styling products. Try to develop a good routine of applying Agent first, and then applying styling products and style as usual. Keep in mind that your best results will be seen with proper application.

Can I still color my hair?

There is no evidence that indicates a problem with applying Agent to hair that has been colored. However, to avoid chemical interactions, we recommend Agent not be applied on the same day your hair is colored. You will also want to ensure Agent is completely washed off the scalp before applying color.
